Is BabyRelay free?
Yes. BabyRelay is free to download and the free plan covers one child, you and one other caregiver, with all the logging, the shared timeline, handoff summaries, next-nap guidance, and data export and delete.
How much does BabyRelay Family cost?
In the US, BabyRelay Family is $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year, and the annual plan starts with a 7-day free trial. The app may also show a limited Special Annual offer at $29.99 a year. Prices vary by country; the app shows your local price before you buy (US prices checked 24 September 2026).
What does BabyRelay Family add?
More children and more caregivers. Use it when you want to track siblings or bring grandparents, a nanny and a partner into the same family.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple or Google. Cancel any time from your App Store or Google Play subscriptions settings.
Invites and caregivers
How do caregiver invites work?
Open Care team and tap Invite a caregiver. BabyRelay gives you a six-character code and a link. Send either one; the caregiver installs BabyRelay, enters the code (or taps the link) and picks a name, and they are in your family.
What can caregivers see?
Everyone in a BabyRelay family sees the children’s profiles, the care timeline, handoff summaries and who logged each entry.
Does the person I hand over to need the app?
No. A handoff summary can be shared as plain text to any messaging app, so a babysitter or grandparent can read it without an account.
iPhone and Android
Is BabyRelay on Android?
Yes. BabyRelay is on Google Play and the App Store, and caregivers on Android and iPhone can share the same family.
Are any features iPhone-only?
The Lock Screen sleep timer and Dynamic Island use Apple’s Live Activities, so they appear on supported iPhones only. Shared sleep alerts, logging, the timeline and handoffs work on both.
Privacy and your data
Does BabyRelay sell my data?
No. The BabyRelay privacy policy says Ruvix Labs does not sell personal information. It is shared only as needed to run the app (for example Firebase for sync and Apple for purchases), for campaign attribution where permitted, or when the law requires it.
Where is my family’s data stored?
On your phone and in Firebase (Google Cloud), so it can sync between caregivers’ devices.
Can I export or delete everything?
Yes. Settings has Export my data and Delete all data. You can also email us to ask for access, correction or deletion.
Does BabyRelay track me for advertising?
On iPhone, advertising identifiers are only used if you allow tracking in the iOS prompt, and you can change that in your device settings. The full details are in the privacy policy.
Is BabyRelay medical advice?
No. BabyRelay organises care and offers schedule guidance only. It does not replace your pediatrician, healthcare provider or safe-sleep guidance.
